The Road to Redemption
And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
"And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the wave roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." (Luke 21:25-26)
Never before have there been such events as these, appalling evils have spread across this planet earth. We see them on television, and hear them on the radio, and in the news magazines we often read.
About 2,000 years ago, the world's greatest prophet and preacher stood upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem, Israel; though rejected and despised by His people, He uttered these words, which are accurately coming to pass in our times. At the beginning of this twentieth century in a remarkable way; the Bible prophecies are very clear.
As we look back through the series of decade of this era, since the first World War (1914 A.D), with unrelenting fury, lasted over a period of just over four years. This marks beginning of distress of nations and untold human suffering and the increase of knowledge; this was also the time Holy Land and Jerusalem was wrested from the hands of the Turks and Arabs which has cleared the way for the return of the Jews to their own land that was promised to Abraham of old.
From 1914 to our times, the Jews are returning back to the Holy Land is a great exodus; the Jews are now permitted to leave the Soviet Union in large numbers thus fulfilling (Isa.11:12); "and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth." Truly this scripture and many others of the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel and many more has come to great light, and today Israel is an ensign to the nations.
While the Jews are returning to the Holy Land, around the world men's hearts are failing them for fear. Fear is on a global march; the outbreak of world war in 1914 caused a great fear across the world. The economic depression of the 1930's further accelerated this vicious enemies march. Material insecurity brought near panic millions of hearts. World War II produced more fear, the world advanced from rather primitive warfare -- World War 1, dropping small bombs from aircraft -- but World War II was far more dangerous by the atomic blasts of Nagasaki and Hiroshima, when the U.S. flew a B-29 plane over these two cities dropping two atomic bombs.
One of these bombs weighed 9,000 pounds and destroyed two cities and claimed thousands of lives. This brought to an end of Word War II. All intelligent humans then realized there was no place to hide. Since Word War II, scientists and statesmen have predicted the impending extermination of the human race.
From this fear, the United Nations has managed to keep World War III from breaking out. The prophet John said, "And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, not on the sea, nor on the any tree. And I saw another anger ascending from the east, having the seal of he living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, saying hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." (Rev. 7:1-3) Wind is a symbol of war. (Jer. 23:19) There are four angels that brought about these conditions by causing the formation of the U.N. for the very purpose of holding back the third war.
UNITY
We are now experiencing a great change in our world today, especially in eastern Europe and the Soviet Union. Communism is giving up for Capitalism. The eastern block countries that have changed are: Poland, Hungary, Rumania, Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, and East Germany; and many others to follow.
About three to four thousand years ago the Most High God of heaven and earth, gave unto the King of Babylon a dream which he could not remember. Nebuchadnezzar was troubled in spirit, and his sleep break from him. He called his magicians, astrologers, and Chaldeans, but none could reveal this dream of his to him. With great fury he commanded to the destroy all the wisemen of Babylon, and the holy man of God, Daniel. Daniel learned about this, went in and desired of the King that he should give him time, and that he would show the King the interpretation. Then Daniel went to his house and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah. Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
Daniel was brought before the King, and he made know the dream and the interpretation. This dream is concerning this Gentile world in the form of a man. (Daniel 2:1-3, 12-19, 25, 31-37) The head of gold represent the first Gentile kingdom which ruled the world in the year 606 B.C. by King Nebuchadnezzar; second, silver, Media and Persia, Kings Darius and Cyrus; third kingdom, brass, Alexander the Great, King of Greece; fourth, iron, the final kingdom of Rome, ruled by Herod, Caesars and Popes.
This Roman kingdom is divided into two parts, Eastern and Western Europe. Dear reader, we are now in the end of the time in the toes of the Gentile man. Iron mixed with miry clay, represents trouble, and fragile unity of Eastern and Western Europe. Daniel 2:443 says, "They shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay." Therefore this would result in a major war, of both the East and West Europe very soon.
There prophet Isaiah says, "Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; --- Take council together, and shall come to naught; speak the word, and it shall not stand." (Isa. 8:9-10) Apostle Paul says, "For when they shall say, 'Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (1 Thes. 5:3)
DANGER
The wold is looking for a leader, a religious and political genius, which will deceive them. He is called the man of sin, the son of perdition, and also he is worshiped by the world, and all the world will be wondering after him; he is none other than the Pope of Rome. (1 Thes. 2:3-4; Rev. 13:3) "For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdoms unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled." (Rev. 17:17) Verses 12 and 13 of the same scripture says, "And then horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; --- and shall give their power and strength unto the beast." In the midst of this, Jesus Christ will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, destroy the Pope of Rome, and his followers will be punished with the seven last plagues, and He shall rule them with a rod of iron for one thousand years on this earth. (2 Thes. 2:8; Rev. 19:15-16, 2:26-27, 5:9-10;Zech. 14:16-19; Psalms 2:6-9)
Dear friends, let us be ready for the coming of the Jesus, for His coming is very near. He is coming to take over the world, as it is written: "And the seventh angel sounded, saying, the Kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdom of our Lord, and His Christ; and he reigns forever and ever."
